About Ken Berry, MSOM, LAc
Ken Berry received his Master of Science in Oriental Medicine (summa cum laude) from the Acupuncture and Integrative Medicine College, Berkeley, where he is now an Assistant Professor and Educational Technology Consultant. His professional interests include women's health, fertility, and pain management within the broader scope of family practice.
In addition to his private practice in Sacramento, Ken has treated hundreds of patients with acupuncture and herbs in three Bay Area community clinics: the AIMC Berkeley Community Acupuncture Clinic, Lifelong Medical Clinic in downtown Oakland, and Berkeley Primary Care. He has worked with patients ages 11-102 on a wide variety of health issues.
Ken also holds the rank of Shodan (black belt) in Aikido, a martial art based on peaceful conflict resolution.
Ken's professional memberships include the American Association of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, the American Society for Reproductive Medicine, and the American Pregnancy Association.
About Scott Rowe, MSOM, LAc
Scott is a graduate of the Acupuncture and Integrative Medicine College, Berkeley. He has been practicing Chinese Medicine since 2005, and also has completed postgraduate study in Tianjin, China in 2008. While in Tianjin, he had intensive clinical time rotating through the stroke recovery and Andrology (Men's Health) departments at the traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) hospital there.
He is currently participating in a study investigating the effects of acupuncture on patient outcome and satisfaction in the emergency department of a major Bay Area hospital.
Scott enjoys backpacking and playing soccer in his spare time. He also cooks for family and friends, using his previous experience as a professional chef with his knowledge of Chinese dietary therapy to make delicious meals.
